OU Kosher Certified

All NutraBio Labs supplements listed below are certified by the Orthodox Union as Kosher Pareve unless listed as Kosher Dairy.

NutraBio has been certified kosher by the Orthodox Union since 2008. Please be advised that not all NutraBio products are kosher. Only products that specifically state that they are kosher in the "Quality" section of the product page are kosher. Once you see the OU symbol appear on a product page of this website you can be assured that the product you receive will have the OU symbol on the package. We have done our best to make all of our products kosher, but in a few cases where the ingredients themselves are not available as kosher, such as chondroitin (shellfish) we cannot make the final product kosher.

NutraBio Does NOT Use Gelatin for Any of its Kosher Products:

NutraBio uses only OU certified kosher vegetarian capsules for all of our kosher products. The Orthodox Union does not recognize any gelatin capsule manufactured by any company as being kosher, which is why we only use vegetarian capsules for kosher products. The only time we use a gelatin capsule is when in a few cases where the ingredients themselves cannot be kosher so the product itself will not be listed as kosher. Many brands list their products that are manufactured with gelatin capsules as kosher, however they are not certified by the Orthodox Union.

Kosher Certification by the Orthodox Union:

Every product on our site that is that is listed as kosher is guaranteed to be certified OU Kosher by the Orthodox Union. A kosher certificate listing all of our kosher products is supplied by the Orthodox Union and available for viewing or download at this link. This Certificate is updated weekly by the Orthodox Union.

Kosher for Passover:

NutraBio products are NOT certified as "Kosher for Passover". If you have a specific health issue that requires the use of one of our supplements you can contact the Orthodox Union directly to discuss an exemption with them. Their direct phone number is 212-613-8241.
