L-Tyrosine is an essential amino acid which supports brain function. It
can be converted by neurons in the brain into the neurotransmitters dopamine and
norepinephrine (noradrenaline), hormones which are depleted by stress, excessive
work and certain drugs. By replenishing norepinephrine in the brain, mental
energy levels are enhanced and a feeling of contentment often occurs. L-tyrosine
boosts certain neurotransmitters in the brain and has been used to support
stress reduction and depression. L-Tyrosine is converted in the body into other
key biologic compounds, including L-dopa, CoQ10, thyroid hormones and melanin.
Tyrosine can also enhance athletic performance. L-Tyrosine is an
important component of protein and helps form the bioactive factors vital to
cellular growth and maintenance. Tyrosine supplementation has the potential to
increase athletic performance in a few ways. One of the mechanisms possibly
contributing to fatigue during exercise is an increase in central serotonin
levels and an increase in the ratio of serotonin to dopamine. Tyrosine may help
decrease this ratio and compete with tryptophan (the amino acid precursor to
serotonin) at the blood-brain barrier. Increased dopaminergic activity may
decrease the perception of fatigue. Also, during highly stressful conditions,
catecholamine levels can become depleted, and tyrosine may be particularly
useful under these conditions.
The amino acid L-tyrosine is a precursor for several substances made in
the body including:
• neurotransmitters such as dopamine and
norepinephrine
• melanins, the pigments largely responsible for skin and hair color
• thyroid hormones, such as thyroxine
NutraBio.com L-Tyrosine Ethyl Ester is manufactured from pure free form crystalline amino acid. It is NOT derived
from milk.
The B vitamins pyridoxine (B-6) and folic acid can assist in the
conversion process.
The benefits of
L-Tyrosine Ethyl Ester:
Amino Acid Esters are amino acids with an ester molecule attached. Esters are
organic compounds that are formed by esterification, which is the reaction of
carboxylic acid and alcohols. Esters are organic compounds that help shuttle the
amino acid across lipid membranes of the gut and directly into the bloodstream
for direct transport to your cells. This prevents the amino acid from being
destroyed in the gut and drives more of the free form amino acid directly into
muscle tissue where it can be more efficiently used for its intended purpose.
Free form amino acids have inherent limitations such as limited absorption
through the intestine. Whereas amino acid esters can pass through the intestine
largely intact, regular free form aminos can be significantly degraded in the
intestine, leaving only trace amounts of the ingested dose active. Because of
the rapid breakdown of some amino acids in the intestine, its beneficial effects
can be limited. Ethyl ester amino acids are thought to have a much better
absorption rate and a longer half-life in the body than regular free from amino
acids because it is slightly more lipophilic.
Amino acid
ethyl esters are technically amino acids derivatives. Their ergogenic effects
are similar to those of their base free form amino acids, but the presence of an
ester will make the ergogenic effects of more pronounced. The presence of the
ester not only enhances the function of amino acid and overcomes its inherent
limitations, but the presence of an ester and increased absorption also reduce
the need for large doses, which may put less stress on the body.

We guarantee our
supplements to be the freshest and purest:
Our powders and
capsules contain only pure active ingredient
with absolutely no additives. Other
manufacturers, in an effort to keep costs down,
dilute their products with cheap fillers and add chemical excipients
to their products to speed up their manufacturing output. These
practices cheat you out of the active ingredient. At NutraBio, we've
perfected our manufacturing technology so that excipients aren't
needed, that means no
microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica or other
fillers, just 100% pure active ingredient.
NutraBio supplements are
manufactured under the strictest standards producing the highest
quality and purest supplements available anywhere. Our raw
ingredients undergo state of the art HPLC analysis to insure zero
tolerance for impurities.

Suggested
Usage:
As a dietary supplement, take 1–2 capsules daily, or up to 1 g of
powder, on an empty stomach immediately after arising in the
morning, preferably with juice as a carbohydrate source, or as
directed by your qualified health consultant.
Hypoallergenic: Contains no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten, corn,
soy, wheat, sugar, starch, salt, preservatives, or artificial color,
flavor or fragrance.
Warning:
NOT INTENDED FOR USE BY PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF
CHILDREN. If you are pregnant or breast feeding, consult your health care
professional before using this product. People with known medical conditions
and/or taking drugs should consult with a licensed physician and/or pharmacist
prior to taking any dietary supplements. Do not take in conjunction with MAO
inhibitor drugs. Not for use by persons with a history of malignant melanoma or
if bipolar, pregnant, suspect pregnancy, or lactating. Tyrosine should not be
taken by those with conditions associated with increased dopamine levels such as
mania and schizophrenia. This supplement may increase sensitivity to the effects
of CNS stimulants. Caution is advised when taking tyrosine along with stimulants
and dosages should be lowered accordingly. Keep out of the reach of children.
L-Tyrosine side effects:
L-Tyrosine may help some people in their fight against depression, but dosages
above 500 mg, in some people, may cause anxiety, restlessness and rapid heart
rate. L Tyrosine can cause over stimulation, restlessness, anxiety, and
insomnia. Heart palpitations or arrhythmias are potential side effects that
occur from high doses of tyrosine. These can occur in sensitive individuals in
as low a dose as 200 to 500 mg. Always start with a low dose, such as 200 mg or
less, even if it means opening a tyrosine capsule and taking a portion of it.

No excipients or fillers: Our
goal is to manufacture our supplements as pure as possible, so we don't use fillers, binders, or chemical excipients. Other manufacturers,
in an effort to keep costs down, dilute their products with cheap fillers and
excipients, which cheats you out of the active ingredient and contaminates your
product with unneeded chemicals. At NutraBio, we keep our products clean and
only use excipients when absolutely necessary. Purity is our #1 goal.
Purchase
manufacturer direct at wholesale price: Buy directly from the
manufacturer and save. We cut out the middlemen and pass the savings on to you.
With NutraBio, you pay the same low wholesale price that the chain stores pay.
Did you know that most companies do not manufacture their products but use 3rd
party manufacturers. Since we manufacture all of our own products we
can control the quality and purity through the entire manufacturing process.
FREE dosing scoop with your
powder order: Get the exact dosage every time with a free single-dose
scoop. This scoop was designed by our lab
